How to get Deleted Photo from Memory card

Memory cards are used in many devices. However, unknowingly photos stored in memory cards are deleted. Some people have also found that their card gets corrupted. If such a thing has happened to you then do not need to panic. Here we are going to tell you how the deleted photos from a memory card can be recovered.

First of all, know that you will also need a card reader and a computer to regain the deleted pictures. Now understand the whole process one by one.

Step 1- Whenever you know that photos have been deleted from your memory card, then do not use the card. This means that do not save any more photos in this card. If you have a card in the camera, then immediately remove it. 

Step 2- Now you will need Recovery software. There may be PhotoRec options for Recuva and Mac for Windows. Both are absolutely free Well you can have other options if you want. These types of facilities are being provided by some companies selling memory cards.

 Step 3 - Install the software on your PC or Mac.

 Step 4- Start Recuva (Recuva) now. After the program starts, choose the type of file you want to get. Here we are telling you how to get deleted pictures, but through Recuva you can get other files like this.
 Now you get to the location through the menu. Apply the card reader to your computer and select the root directory where the photos of the camera are saved. Typically this folder is named as DCIM or Camera Manufacturing.

Step 5 - Start the scan and see which files have started getting. Here you will find some results, which shows that the software has acquired your photos. If you have opted to search only photos in step 4, then it will only show standard file format like JPEG. If you want raw files and they are not visible yet then have to do another step.
 Switch to Advanced Mode in Recuva, which will show you what type of file is looking for software. You have to add the file extension of the camera's raw format. It can be .CR2, .NEF or .ARW, depending on the camera's brand. If there is any doubt then check the camera manually 

Step 6 - Select all the pictures for Recuva that you want to restore. Now click on the 'Recover' button. Now select the place where you want to restore the files. Save it anywhere but save it back to memory card now.
